About Holly
Holly received her MChem in Chemistry from the University of York in 2018. As part of her undergraduate course, she undertook a one year industrial placement at GlaxoSmithKline's (GSK) R&D facility, Stevenage, within Chemical Development. Her work, which examined photochemistry in industry and looked at the implementation of a novel photochemical reactor, with a specific focus on photochemical benzylic brominations, has since been published. Holly is currently a third year industrial PhD student on the Strathclyde-GSK collaborative PhD programme, supervised by Drs David Pascoe (GSK), Damien Valette (GSK), David Lindsay and Marc, where she is developing methodologies for the generation of remote stereocentres.
