About Alfie

Alfie completed his MSci in Chemistry at University College London in 2018, with his Masters level project running under the supervision of Dr Jamie Baker in the field of protein conjugation. Alfie is currently studying for a PhD as part of the Strathclyde-GSK collaborative PhD programme under the co-supervision of Drs Catherine Alder and Darren Poole (GSK), and Marc. His PhD project involves using electrochemistry to find greener, metal-free alternatives to traditional oxidation reactions.
